Thomas Lutsic, new secondary principal at
HCS
E. Irondequoit Assistant
New HCS Principal
Thomas Lutsic was hired Wednesday as
the new secondary principal for Hamilton
Central Schools. He succeeds Dana
Chapman, who is retiring from HCS next
month.

The HCS Board of Education voted
unanimously to hire Lutsic, who is an
assistant principal at
Eastridge High School
in the East Irondequoit Central School
District on Lake Ontario just north of
Rochester.

Lutsic previously served as an English and
creative writing teacher in the Geneva
School District.

He earned his bachelor's from Buffalo
State University and his masters and a
certificate of advanced studies from
Brockport State.

Eastridge is considerably larger than HCS.
Lutsic said there are 4,000 students in the
district and 1,150 in the high school alone.

Lutsic lived in the Buffalo area much of his
life.

He begins his new position in Hamilton
July 1.
