Boys Win at Old Forge

The HCS boys soccer team picked up a win in Old Forge Tuesday afternoon, beating the Eskimos 3-1. Sam Owens had two goals and an assist for HCS and Devin Askew had a goal and two assists. John Kerber had four saves in goal. HCS' record is now 11-3.

JV Soccer Continues to Roll

The HCS JV soccer team beat Stockbridge Valley Thursday 9-0. Seven players had goals: Ryan Tuttle with 3, Brian Meeks and Patrick Salmon with one each. Ian Schubert, Evan Truett, Skylar Fukazawa and Sebastian Pendleton-Witherspoon all scored their first goals of the season. Rodney Buyea, Ian Schubert, and Andrew Holcomb all had multiple assists. The team’s record is 6-2-2.

The HCS JV boys soccer team gave up two first half goals to Old Forge Wednesday, but scored two goals of their own in the second half. After one overtime period the game was called because of darkness, ending in a 2-2 tie. HCS' record is now 5-2-2.

The 16th ranked HCS boys soccer team beat Sherburne-Earlville Thursday 1-0 on the road. Chris Jackowski scored the game's only goal. Ben Knechy had the assist. HCS' goalie John Kerber had two saves. Hamilton is now 8-2 overall and 6-1 in the league. HCS plays at Watereville Saturday at 7 p.m.
