White Three Hits NY Mills;
Hamilton Wins 3-0 Tuesday
Senior pitcher Tyler White turned in a strong complete
game performance Tuesday to help lead Hamilton past
New York Mills 3-0 at home.

White struck out six New York Mills batters, walked
none and allowed just three hits in one of his best
outings of the year.

"He's not overpowering, but he's smart and knows how
to use his experience to his advantage," Coach Joe
LePage said of White.

As they have several times this season, the Emerald
Knights manufactured runs by stealing bases and
capitalizing on timely hits and key sacrifices.

In the second inning, Hamilton's Jordon Doroshenko
singled and stole second and third. He came home on an
error.

I the same inning, Will Keever bunted his way to first
and stole second and third. He scored on John
Anderjack's sacrifice fly to left.

Lucas Rhyde led off the sixth with a single and scored.

White, Doroshenko, Anderjack, Keever and Kinnon
Nolan-Finkel each had hits for Hamilton Tuesday.

The day before, Hamilton was handed a 10-7 loss by
West Canada Valley.

It looked as though Hamilton might be make the drive
home with a win Monday. White hit the first pitch of the
ball game for a home run. Hamilton added three more
runs in the opening inning.

But, West Canada tagged three Hamilton pitchers for 10
runs.

Hamilton plays at Westmoreland Wednesday and has
two games Saturday in the Hamilton Sports Booster
Tournament.
